About this model
This one isn't mine — it was designed by my good friend Elliot Stringer, who's kindly given me permission to share it with the community. If you find it useful, go give him a follow: @rsp_turbo on Instagram. This listing includes both the busbar and the mounting block, supplied as laser-cut files, designed around Amphenol SurLok Plus connectors for 4 gauge (4 AWG / 25mm²) cable. SurLok Plus is the go-to for clean, high-current power distribution — quick-lock, press-to-release connectors rated for serious amperage, so you can make and break heavy power connections fast and reliably without bolt lugs and spanners. That makes a busbar like this ideal for motorsport, EV, turbo, and custom automotive wiring where you want a tidy, serviceable common power or ground point. The design is built specifically around the connector set below, with red (positive) and black (negative) parts so you can colour-code your distribution properly. Get the laser-cut parts made up, source the connectors, and you've got a professional-grade power distribution block. Connector BOM (Amphenol SurLok Plus, via DigiKey): 4× SLPPA25BSR — cable plug, 4 AWG crimp, red 4× SLPPA25BSB — cable plug, 4 AWG crimp, black 5× SLPRATPSR — receptacle, threaded, red 5× SLPRATPSB — receptacle, threaded, black Notes: These files are laser-cut designs, not 3D prints — have them cut in the appropriate material for your application (the busbar in particular needs a suitable conductive material rated for your current; the block to suit your mounting). Connectors are sized for 4 AWG / 25mm² cable — make sure your cable and crimp tooling match. Always verify current ratings, material thickness, and clearances against your own electrical requirements before building. High-current DC distribution deserves a careful eye. Big thanks to Elliot for letting me put this out there. Shared free — enjoy, build something tidy, and tag him if you do.
